Innovation in management
In an increasingly complex business environment characterized by technological, economic and societal evolutions and systemic interdependence, firms are faced with imperatives of agility, innovation, customer proximity and the challenge of attracting and retaining talent. These challenges are leading businesses to question their existing management practices, which were designed to be effective in a very different context. This report discusses and illustrates topics such as new approaches to performance management, employee wellbeing as a driver of performance, distributed management and employee empowerment as well as new approaches to innovation drawing on examples from several different countries.
