New Leadership Models: From Competencies to Culture
In a context of ongoing disruptive change, organizational models and ways of working are being challenged, raising questions about the kind of leadership required to ensure sustainable success. Not surprisingly many firms have recently revisited their Leadership Models. By comparing those of 12 multinational firms from diverse sectors of activity, we observe a shift in the intention and spirit of these models that raises the bar regarding effective deployment. The intention being cultural change (as opposed to developing individual competencies), the traditional focus on training and aligning HR processes is no longer sufficient. So how are firms adapting their approaches to take up this challenge?
